Below are seven Venus placements often discussed in relationship astrology. They offer themes to examine in a chart. They cannot tell you, on their own, whether a marriage will end or whether someone will remarry.

In astrology, Venus is read for affection, attraction and what a person values in a partnership. Its sign, house, nakshatra and aspects add context. None of these should be read as a fixed marriage outcome.
Seven Venus placements: what to check before drawing a conclusion
1. Shukra in Moola Nakshatra (Sagittarius) – in the 7th or 9th House
Moola is associated with Ketu and the idea of getting to the root of a matter. For Venus, this can be used to discuss changing expectations. It is not a rule for separation, whether Venus is in the 7th or 9th house.
What to check: Read the 7th lord, aspects and dasha alongside Venus. A difficult period may call for attention to the relationship, but it does not settle the question of divorce or remarriage.
A change in expectations can happen within the same marriage. It does not require a new partner.
2. Venus in Ashlesha Nakshatra (Cancer) – in the 2nd, 7th, or 12th House
Ashlesha is linked with Mercury and the Nagas in nakshatra tradition. Its symbolism is sometimes used to discuss attachment and trust. It does not make a person dishonest or manipulative.

What to check: A stressed Venus needs context from the 7th lord, navamsha and timing. Jyeshtha alone cannot confirm a second marriage.

Bharani is ruled by Venus in nakshatra astrology. It is often read through themes of desire, responsibility and limits.

What to check: Compare expectations with the relationship as it is. Venus in Revati or the 12th house is not a rule for two marriages.
A practical conversation about needs is more useful than calling a relationship an illusion.
7. Venus in Chitra Nakshatra (Virgo/Libra) – in the 8th House
Chitra is associated with Mars and creative expression. Venus is debilitated in Virgo and in its own sign in Libra. Because Chitra spans both signs, the sign and other chart factors must be checked before interpreting Venus here.
What to check: Chitra extends across Virgo and Libra, so the sign matters. Do not apply the same interpretation to every Venus-in-Chitra placement.

Can astrology give an exact number of marriages?
